Ølten: Ølten

I wouldn’t know how to call this music. Let’s see if I can describe it properly.
There’s rock in here, a lot of it, but that can mean almost anything, uh? Okay, it’s some kind of slow, minimalistic and sinister instrumental music delivered in form of four tracks. If impressive is your thing, this is not for you. No, this Swiss trio doesn’t care for great musicianship, instead, have you heard about songwriting? Me, I really like their minimalistic approach to sludgy music, even if their first approach feels a bit unfulfilled. In fact, that’s part of the appeal.
6/10: Metal considerations aside, this makes interesting listening.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
