2nd album from this French death metal band and it’s quite a strange beast. It feels like the band just about threw every idea they had into the blender and came out with this album. The guitarist has some serious talent but is let down by his tone while the bands constant shifting from death metal, guitar wankery, djent and melodic metal means that the album feels a bit disjointed. Also, the production of the guitars and drums sounds synthetic and a bit artificial. Overall, an album of interesting ideas but not everything comes together and its a bit too long to hold interest all the way through.
4/10: Undoubtedly talented musicians but boring songs.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
