Machinergy: Rhythmotion
05/07/11 || Lord K Philipson
Machinergy hail from Lisbon. As they state themselves in perfect English: “Since the main thrash-metal roots, through the death- metal sound, some industrial influences and even punk, Machinergy not self-bound in tight labels. Therefore, the band prefers only to be “categorized” as METAL. For some it may be more thrash, for others it may be more death, etc. But they do not deny crucial influences on their both personal and band development such as Sepultura, Sodom, Kreator, Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Obituary, Rammstein, etc. The spectrum is vast and timeless.”
I can’t hear any of the influences these guys are referring to. The material feels cold, mechanical, quite confused and I can’t really make much out of this in the end. The best thing from Lisbon will always be Ruby Roque.
3,5/10: Where’s the fucken energy you guys are referring to?
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
