Kyu: Svrgn
16/06/11 || Lord K Philipson
Weird band name and weird album title – usually that is a warning sign. Kyu surprised me though. Quite groovy metal with bearable vocals, some nice Meshuggah-ish moments with catchy choruses and a bunch of fresh ideas thrown in, making Kyu come about with a somewhat original take on music. Had this one been blessed with a killer production we would have seen a higher score. Holland’s got something in the pipelines here if they get their shit completely together. I definitely recommend you guys take a listen to this.
7,5/10: I applaud them for proving that appearance can be deceiving.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
