Hate: Anaclasis
09/02/06 ||
Wanna hear something really great from Poland that´s not Vader or Behemoth? Then listen to the new slab of death from Hate or shut the fuck up.
I know that I should shut the fuck up too in your opinion, for not mentioning Decaptiated or some other very technical and boring act. But that´s just the point, why mention any of all these new (or not so new but at least newer than the ancient fucken fucks of Vader) when they´re just regurgitating the same old death metal we all know but in a more virtuoso way? I really like Steve Vai, but I don´t need to buy album after album with some fucker imitating him do I? Well, I don´t really like Steve Vai as I´ve actually never heard him, but from what I´ve heard from morons I know he´s really good at playing guitar, so you get my point if you´re not too retarded.
Anyway, let´s not stray too far from the subject at hand (Hate from Poland, a so-called death metal band), rather let us delve more deeply into what they have created for us; a really fucken cool death metal album that also holds just a pinch of something new, which is kinda odd when talking about this kinda music. So what´s new then? I´d say the fact that I ass-raped your mom yesterday, but then again, you might already have gathered that just from the sorry state she´s in today. Hate spew a good bunch of let´s call it “easy listening industrial crap” into their songs, and despite the fact that that alone should make for a run towards the exit, it really makes their songs come to life. For instance, when I first heard that mechanic pumping of pistons in the second track, I just had to fetch a beer and play it over again. That´s a good thing in my book. If it´s a bad thing in your book, you should stop having books and start having seizures. Until you die.
Anyway, to make a bad rant slightly better by ending it let´s just say; if you like your brutal death catchy, you should definitely get Hate to fuck up your day. I did and I have never been more fucked.
9 kicks in the balls to the nowadays overly technical and booooooring Polish scene out of 10
